Chicken lovers, the wait is over – Popeyes® Famous Louisiana Chicken is coming to Exeter city centre on Monday 18th March.
Exeter will get the chance to experience Popeyes® world famous ‘shatter crunch’, with the menu featuring its 12-hour marinated chicken, including Hot Wings and Tenders, as well as original Southern biscuits and gravy and Cajun rice. This brand new restaurant will be Popeyes® 42nd location to open in the UK with many more announcements to come.
Launch day will see Popeyes® bringing the spirit of New Orleans right to your doorstep with brass band ‘The Brass Funkeys’ band welcoming guests as doors open.
As is tradition, the first three lucky people in the queue will receive the ultimate prize of free Chicken Sandwiches for a YEAR. The first 25 will be gifted a free Chicken Sandwich and exclusive merchandise on the day.
To celebrate the launch of the new site in Exeter, Popeyes® will be launching their Breakfast menu from Tuesday 19th March. The ‘Brekkie’ menu launched around the UK last month, featuring British Breakfast classics with a New Orleans twist, such as the Big Cajun breakfast roll, Cajun hash browns and indulgent Nutella-topped buttermilk biscuits. Breakfast will be available until 11am every day, and will even include a Bacon Roll Meal for just £1.99, comprising of the Bacon Roll, a Hash Brown and a drink.

We’ve wanted to land in the South West since we landed in the UK, and Exeter was an obvious location for us to do that. After the success of our Plymouth restaurant opening last year, we’re confident Exeter will be just as popular and can’t wait to bring our famous Louisiana chicken to the heart of the city.”
The Exeter location will be at 50-52 High St, Exeter EX4 3DJ. There are over 80 seats for guests to dine in, or guests can takeaway, or order online to collect.
