Local businesses raise £1,400 for Rowcroft Hospice
The Property Development Forum, which hosts networking events in Exeter, Torbay and Plymouth, held their annual fundraiser last week in aid of Rowcroft Hospice and raised £1,400 on the night to benefit the very worthy charity in Torbay.
Lisa Whittaker of Rowcroft attended the event to receive the cheque and spoke to the gathered crowd of local property professionals. Sheexplained how the work Rowcroft Hospice carries out enhances the lives of terminally ill people in Torbay, both at the hospice itself and in their own homes.
The two-hour endurance race, for teams of 4-6 drivers, was a fast, furious and adrenaline-filled evening with only one team taking the chequered flag and being crowned Devon Champions for the Year.
Tregenna Group, a Taunton based property development company, took the title closely followed by last year’s winners, Pow Property Services. In third place were Baker Estates, a Newton Abbot based construction company.
