welcome to Vauxhall Male Voice Choir.

We are a thriving Male Voice Choir, based in Luton , Bedfordshire in the United Kingdom.
Our history goes back a long way, over 60 years in fact! You can read all about it in THIS BOOK - AVAILABLE NOW! However we are not stuck in the past and it is our aim to ensure that the wonderful tradition of male voice singing carries on well into the 21st Century!

Listen to a sample of our repertoire: "The Song of the Jolly Roger" from the VMVC CD "Reflections" recorded - May 2006.

The power of music ...

"but stop awhile and quietly stand ... Hear the silence that goes hand in hand
With the lilting tunes and rythmic sound. Music truly does make the world go round."
An excerpt from the book CHOIR IN VERSE, compiled and edited by Ben Smith (Choir Librarian) and Philida Driver (Director of Music). More about the book, and how to obtain your copy HERE.

Our members are made up of men from all walks of life, with a shared passion for music and a desire to share their music with others.
We sing all kinds of music including operatic choruses, show songs, sacred songs, spirituals, Welsh hymn tunes as well as Traditional Male Voice Choir standards. Whilst we mostly take part in concerts all over the United Kingdom, we do occasionally tour or visit other European countries as guest artists.

Whether you are visiting our website with a view to attending our concerts, or are considering becoming a Patron of the choir or a Choir member, we hope you find what you may be looking for within this website.

If you have any specific questions or suggestions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
