Exeter is the second most pet-friendly UK city
Norwich has been named the most pet-friendly UK city for a city break according to new research.
Howden Insurance analysed Airbnb and Booking.com property listings available over a weekend (Friday to Sunday), to discover which UK towns and cities have the highest percentage of properties which allow guests to bring their pets.
The ten most pet-friendly UK towns and cities are outlined below:

Norwich ranked as the most pet-friendly UK city for a city break, with 46.88% or 158 of its 337 available Airbnb and Booking.com properties allowing families to bring pets along for their vacation.
Exeter ranked as the second-most pet-friendly city for a city break in the UK. 41.55% of its 515 Airbnb and Booking.com properties allow pets to tag along.
Hastings was found to be the third-most pet-friendly town in the UK, with 40.74% of available Airbnb and Booking.com listings allowing families to bring their furry friend.
Ipswich is fourth on the list, with 39.48% or 152 of its 385 open vacation listings allowing pets.
Eastbourne ranked as the fifth best town for pet lovers and their pets to visit, with 39.11% of its open listings being pet friendly. Middlesbrough has 105 pet-friendly properties out of 275 (38.46%), making it the sixth most pet-friendly city for a break in the UK.
Edinburgh is the seventh-most pet-friendly city in the UK, with 37.58% of its listings allowing pets to tag along. Another Scottish city, Dundee closely follows in eighth place. 37.23% of its open properties allow pets.
In ninth position is Brighton, with 36% of its 476 open listings allowing pets. Plymouth rounds out the top ten, with 35.69% of its 325 available Airbnb and Booking.com properties allowing pets.
Blackpool has the lowest percentage of properties that allow families to bring pets along, with only 14.88% or 57 of its 383 available Airbnb and Booking.com listings allowing pets.
