Over four million people have now received their spring covid booster from the NHS just ten weeks after bookings officially opened as part of the latest vaccination campaign.

Around seven million people are eligible for a spring covid jab this year, including those aged 75 and over, those with a weakened immune system and older adult care home residents, and the latest stats published today show 4,042,920 vaccines have been delivered by the NHS.

Westbank’s Devon Carers organised a well-attended conference and a multitude of free activities for unpaid carers during Carers Week (10 - 16 June 2024)

With the latest research from The National Lottery Community Fund [1] revealing an enthusiasm for volunteering among UK adults, Ansvar Insurance is urging charities and organisations in Devon to prioritise the safety and management of their volunteer programmes.

A step challenge which raises vital funds for leading charity Diabetes UK returns this summer – and a call has gone out for people from Devon to sign up.

The One Million Step Challenge runs between 1 July and 30 September and challenges participants to complete a massive one million steps over three months – which works out around 10,000 a day. Participants can take on the challenge from their own doorstep, at their own pace, in their own way.

Blue Cross in Devon is reaching out to Devon’s pet lovers to find out just how obsessed we really are with our furry friends!
