Digital marketing experts Optix Solutions are about to begin working with residential community Stallcombe House – and it won’t cost the charity a penny.

West Country house builder Devonshire Homes has raised a fantastic £5,000 for its chosen charity partners, South West Blood Bikes and Cornwall Blood Bikes.

The Crematorium and Memorial Group donates over £1million to charity by recycling metal body parts.

The Crematorium and Memorial Group (CMG), part of Dignity, has donated over £1 million to good causes since this time last year. Donations have been made possible through CMG’s participation in a nationwide not for profit metal recycling scheme administered by the Association of Private Crematoria and Cemeteries.

DCW Polymers raises over £3,000 for local charities through popular Recycle & Raise scheme

DCW Polymers, the South West’s only specialist plastics recycling and reprocessing plant, has raised £3,101.68 for local charities by recycling plastic tubs and bottle tops donated by the general public.

The funds, which have been split equally between Dartmoor Zoological Society and Life Chance Trust, were raised through DCW Polymers’ Recycle & Raise initiative. The appeal asked the general public to donate plastic tubs and bottle tops for recycling which DCW Polymers has shredded into granules.

The Devon branch of the countryside charity CPRE is looking for budding young artists who can capture the beauty and variety of the county’s natural landscapes, from its wild moorlands to its sheltered river valleys.

Young artists aged 18 and under have until the end of September to submit a painting, drawing, textile, collage, or mixed media artwork of a Devon view to win the coveted title of Devon’s Best Young Landscape Artist 2023. Devon cat charity launches £100,000 fundraising campaign

A Devon cat welfare charity has launched a £100,000 fundraising campaign in response to the increasing demand for its help.

Hector’s House Cat Rescue was set up by Zara Oldfield in 2020 during the Covid pandemic to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome abandoned unneutered tom cats. It became a registered charity in November 2020 and has grown to become one of the biggest cat welfare charities in the region, operating across Devon.
